The activity of «Euro-2» standard in Russia could be prolonged till the end of 2012, informed the head of Russian fuel union, Evgenii Arkusha. By his words, expert commission of Ministry of industry and trade considered and approved changes in technical regulations about petrol, in accordance with which a fuel of 2nd class will be sold in market till the end of 2012.
Car plants dissatisfied with delay of transferring to Euro-3 and Euro-4 fuel
Car makers that made all efforts to transfer in standard Euro-4 on time are worry about sluggishness of oil industry. «GAZ Group» that estimated its cost for new eco standards transferring in 15 milliard Roubles has a fear about its invest projects: new «clean» vehicles won’t be able to fill in with fuel of the same class.
GAZ Group and LUKOIL signed agreement
Today GAZ Group and LUKOIL company signed collaboration agreement, according to which GAZ Group will purchase fuels and lubricants and petrochemistry products produced by LUKOIL enterprises at the prices based on the market factors.
KAMAZ-LEASING leased 18 special vehicles to Bashkortostan building company
KAMAZ-LEASING Group signed agrement and leased special vehicles for the total sum of 46 million roubles to Stroyservice. KAMAZ official dealer Ufa KAMAZ-CENTER took the lead in this deal. Under collaboration with Bashkir partners KAMAZ-LEASING financed 18 KAMAZ cars, including 16 KAMAZ-6522-027 dump trucks, a fueler NEFAZ-66062-10 and a crew bus NEFAZ 4208-11-13 for transportation of shift workers to the work places. Stroyservice is one of the largest building companies in Bashkortostan, which specializes in civil and erection works, construction of bridges, tunnels, overground and underground highways. According to KAMAZ leasing and sales promotion director Alfia Kogogia, over 7% of the total KAMAZ sales in the first half of 2011 were provided by KAMAZ-LEASING Group. KAMAZ-LEASING sold 1,385 vehicles for 2.38 billion roubles. The net profit of KAMAZ-LEASING Group came up to 241 million roubles in the first half of the year. Since 2002 KAMAZ-LEASING has sold over 23,000 KAMAZ vehicles and signed contracts for over 43.5 billion roubles.
TVEKS “GAZ Group” presented universal machineries for road organizations
The plant “Tverskoy Ekskavator” (TVEKS) of “GAZ Group” present the universal machineries for road organizations in the specialized forum “New progressive technologies of repair and maintenance of car roads”, which was held on April 13th and 14th in Tver by the initiative of Russian association of territorial highway administrations RADOR, Federal highway agency and administration of Tver region.
KAMAZ will stop assembly line almost for a month in connection with summer holidays
KAMAZ will stop assembly line from August 7th till September 4th in connection with annual corporative holidays. The time of holidays will be used for repairing and upgrading of equipment, which usually works 24 hours.

Volkswagen doubled LCV sales in Russia
Russian Volkswagen Commercial car dealers sold 8,564 cars during nine months of 2011 – that is twice more than a year ago. According to Volkswagen Commercial cars, in contrast to the world results, where the Caddy became the absolute sales leader, in Russia the first place was taken by the T5 series. During three quarters 3,925 cars were sold, including the Multivan, the California, the Transporter and the Caravelle, and the growth was 78.6%. At that, the Caddy took the second place, with 2,267 cars sold (+65%). The sales of the Volkswagen Crafter were 1,352 cars – twice more than a year ago. According to Volkswagen Commercial cars, the demand should be even more in the nearest future, as the New Crafter is going on sale in the Russian market.

St. Petersburg Toyota plant intends to assemble about 14,000 cars in 2011, general director of the enterprise Matsunaga Yoshinori informed. As he said, this number is less than in 2010 as the production line is being re-equipped for the new Toyota Camry assembly. The production of the model is planned to be started at the end of October – beginning of November 2011.

German car manufacturer Opel intends to increase its share in the Russian market up to 5% from the current 2.6% during two-three years, general director of Opel European subdivision Karl-Friedrich Stracke said.

During nine months St. Petersburg car market grew almost 1.5 times
According to Auto-Dealer-SPb, during nine months of 2011, dealers in St. Petersburg sold 136,927 new passenger cars – that is 47% or 43,575 cars more than for the same period of the previous year. In September 17,472 passenger cars were sold in the city, that is 32% more than a year ago. In September Volkswagen became the sales leader for the first time this year.
